(to the tune of: “Did You Ever See a Lassie?”)

Did you ever see a dino munching his lunch?
 He munches and crunches
 and crunches and munches
. Did you ever see a dino, munch his lunch?

Did you ever see a dino, a dino, a dino
Did you ever see a dino go splash in a pond?
He blows little bubbles and big bubbles and
floats on his back
Did you ever see a dino go splash in a pond?

Did you ever see a dino, a dino, a dino,
Did you ever see a dino fall asleep on the bus?
He closes his eyes and snores more

Did you ever see a dino, a dino, a dino
Did you ever see a dino blink the lady bugs out of his eyes
He blinks big and blinks little , the lady bugs fly away
Did you ever see a dino blink ladybugs from his eyes.

Little Red Train
Everyone sits and waits at the train station. One person begins by pretending to be the engine. They walk about the room as everyone chants:

Little Red Train chugging down the track.
First it goes down, then it comes back.
Hooking on cars as it goes,
Little Red Train just grows and grows.

The "engine" calls for a "car" to hook on. Repeat the chant. The second
person calls a third to hook on. Continue until everyone has completed
the train.

Little Red Caboose
Little red caboose, chug, chug, chug
Little red caboose, chug, chug, chug
Little red caboose behind the train, train, train, train
Smokestack on his back, back, back, back
Chugging down the track, track, track, track
Little red caboose behind the train.

 Little Sleeping Dinosaurs

 Little sleeping dinosaurs
Oh, it’s nearly noon.
Oh, so still,
Are they ill?
Let’s wake them up....

 WAKE UP LITTLE DINOSAURS
**Stomp little dinosaurs
Stomping, stomping. Stomp
Stomp little dinosaurs,
Stomp, stomp, STOP!

Repeat with: rocking, side to side, laughing,  smooching

Core Vocab Targeted:  go, up,down, out, off,on

 Modified text:

Do you hear the whistle blow?
The Dinosaur train is ready to go!

They make fire and steam with lots of coal
That's what makes the engine go

All the dinosaurs wave goodbye
"We'll see you soon! The time will fly!"

The train is moving really slow
The dinosaurs want to help it go!

They push the train as hard as they can
It's so heavy, it's stuck on land

They throw out all the heavy stuff
The train climbs up , huff-puff, huff-puff!

A dark tunnel sends them down a slide
A dinosaur rollercoaster ride

They wave from side to side "Yippee!"
They yell and scream, "Look at me!"

"Oh no!", the brakemen shout.
The train won't stop, the bridge is out!"

They go faster than they thought they could,
The dinosaurs feel not very good-

They climb out and ride on top
They don't know how to make it stop

They are so scared they close their eyes
And then they get a big surprise-

They shoot like a rocket off the bridge
The train cars go across the ridge

They go through the air without a crash
For a moment they fly and then

KERSPLASH!!

"Agh" they groan
Let's get out of here and go back home.

They find a little car to share
And ride it back home to where

They have family and friends for hugging and playing
They don't want to get back on a dinosaur train-

But how about a dinosaur plane?
